Touring Capital...Buenos Aires!!

Ahh, Buenos Aires...que linda!
The famous Opera House
Washington Monument in Argentina??? Copycats!
Inside the Cathedral with Norma and the Guard
The Shumways with our guides...Charles and Norma
A street in the Capital...beautiful architecture...busy streets
Bob and I with Marsha in front of the "Pink House" Yeah, they couldn't have a white house like our President, so they have the Pink House for their Lady President. This is their equivalent.
With the Shumways at Puerto Madero. Can I look any frumpier as a missionary? Ugh!
Norma and Charles, our good friends and tour guides and caterers for all the zone conferences. They are wonderful. He was born in Africa, moved to Germany where Norma was living for a while. He met the missionaries, and her. He joined the church. They got married and have two children. Charles first language is English. Normas is Spanish and their kids was German. They moved to Argentina a few years ago to be with family and now they all speak 3 languages fluently. We adore them!!! Their daughter Jasmine is one of the fastest runners in the world but won't run competitively because she gets too nervous and hates the workouts. What a crackup!
Evita Peron's grave site or crypt.."Don't cry for me Argentina"....People still decorate it everyday
